Garcia is next in line for Spence if he beats Rios.

"Stephen Espinoza, the general manager of Showtime Sports, told ******.com that the U.S. cable network is reserving a June date for Spence with an eye toward Garcia as the opponent, "

IBF just ordered him to face his mando. This ain't the WBC and Adonis. No step aside eslecially for someone not even ranked in the org. And I don't see Spence dropping his belt.

Yeah I know. Realistically it ain't happening until the fall/early 2019. But it probably will be his next fight after his mando.

              Jessie Vargas

Of course the PBC guys aligned with HBO/Hearn/Warren were not here.
Think Degale/Truax 2 may end up on the same card as Saunders/Murray, April 14th

That is a quality line-up of entertaining fights.

I don't get why there are so called "boxing fans" on here trying to put it down, just because Al Haymon is involved.

Does your butthurt over him and Floyd really extend that far?

stevenson has the equalizer vs jack so I gotta roll with adonis here. jack is a durable mofo doe so it goes to judges.

                  danny garcia KO4 rios.

lara-hurd the one I'm looking forward to the most. hurd's size and strength will give lara huge problem but skill for skill lara blows him out the water. hurd can mow him down or lara can box his eyebrows off. tough to predict.

broner-figueroa. at this point u just gotta accept AB is who he is. all that talent but low punch volume. a change in trainers might do him good doe because he had zero respect for stafford that man should've been fired ages ago. i think a good trainer for him might be derrick james or john david jackson. they train fighters to let hands fly and thats what broner lacks. still picking figueroa by decision.

thurman-vargas (most likely). this aint no tune up. if thurman come half stepping he's losing. still pick keith on points. he'll box circles all night.

wilder KO5 ortiz. no way in hell this sht goes twelve.
Pretty much agree with your pics.

For lara v Hurd i am going for youth over age.
lara may just be ripe for the picking and if anyone can do it , it is Hurd.

HBO been on the back burner for a minute now, although in their ONLY defense, they had the highest rated shows last year if i recall correctly. BUT, they mos def havent been putting on enough cards, which will be to their detriment. Theyre losing BIG time. I remember back in the late 90's and early 2000's, I would throw fight parties at least once a month when their championship boxing fights were on, it didnt matter who was on tbh. Then mid 2000's Showtime started putting on more and more quality cards which was dope af because You'd have 2 championship cards once a month between the 2. Now, we get barely any on hbo, more on show, pbc is okay when they have big cards and tr is pretty good about putting on decent to good fights on espn. The formula is working but would be better if HBO was putting on more cards, then no boxing fan could really complain imo

If Garcia would just clean out the 135lb division first, I'd have no problem because its STACKED! 140 is pretty weak right now imo and part of the reason why he's fighting Lip, other than becoming a 4x champ. Not sure if he could hang at 147, that would be his downfall cause his power hasnt carried up. He could make it interesting but I think guys like Spence & Thurman would be too much at this point. If Crawford beats Horn, I think that'd be a good 1st fight at 147 for Mikey cause theyre both similar builds.
