    How many fans...

Completely understand and comprehend or appreciate the true brutality of boxing I think unless you've experienced it first-hand its hard to grasp the physical and psychological toll it can have on the human body experiencing high levels of cortisol continuously,

which is induced through the adrenal fight or flight response it is infact 95% of the populations first instinct to flee this is why the armys worldwide implement psychological distress exercises to teach the soldiers to override there natural insticts which is not to kill another human being.

The 5% of society are sociopathic in nature and enjoy violence much less run from it certain aspects of myself are traits of a sociopath. Also others such as serial killers psychopaths etc are in the 5% so most boxers certainly have a mean streak/edge to them and an ability to control adrenaline and fight instead of flight which alongside physical damage over a course of there career can add to the downfall of a fighter years after they retire.

The disrespect for this sport on this forum shows the people who either have never even had a fist fight or were brutally beaten in their lives by someone of a different race.

Thought I had a good understanding of boxing till I spared for the first time and realized there is so many things that go into this physically and mentally that people can't possibly understand till you do it first hand. The ignorant stuff you see here shows most of the people never walked into a gym

You summed it up pretty good. I learned that lesson about 20 years ago, been addicted to the sport ever since. Easy to spot fans that have never been in the ring before by the disrespect they show toward professional fighters...
