On topic, Ward can win a HW title in the same way that Roy did; pick the weakest HW with a belt and land enough punches to win the fight while avoiding the return fire. It ain't rocket science.

For them to try and fight Joshua would be going Roy one better and I could see Ward wanting to best Roy. Folks probably told the Wright brothers they were crazy, too. If Team Ward thinks they can do it, it's his ass that takes the beating if they are wrong. It's a dare-to-be-great scenario and I love those. I'd pay the hundred bucks for a PPV.

TBH boxers rarely retire unless they have long term injuries.

When you lose the potential income and haven't made super multi tens of millions after taxes, then you will think hmm I miss having that limelight and feeling, but also the money.
