Although Centeno has a decent record, and both have Williams on their records, The idealist and boxing romantic in me is disappointed that such a deep division in terms of talent isn't being put to good use.
If this is on PPV, how many people give Centeno a hope?
He's a little taller, and obviously has built a record fighting guys with good records, but can he upset Charlo?
Seems Charlo is hedging his bets when it comes to setting himself up for a fight against the GGG v Canelo winner. Which is small guarantee compared to taking on Saunders, who continues to hold that last belt to ransom.
If Golovkin beats Canelo who is he going to go after before he hits close to 40? I see him going full steam ahead at Saunders, throwing big offers to entice him to put his WBO strap on the line 3 years after Golovkin voiced his desire to capture all the belts genuinely, not just as a newcomer blowing rhetoric about cleaning, However, if Canelo wins, I see him putting money before legacy, which means letting all that hard work GGG did in keeping the belts unified disintegrate.
Canelo will fight a tune-up or easy money fight after Golovkin, and that won't be until the very end of 2018, if that.
So many great match-ups to be made I hold GBP responsible for dragging this out until May. That's 9 months to organise a re-match where four belts are tied up, and Saunders doesn't appear to be the kind of fighter to take on all comers, rather he's content to talk smack and fight twice a year.
This is bad for the division which needs to match up the best guys for the No 1 spot, such as Derevyachenko, Charlo, Jacobs, Andrade, even Lemieux and Lee can generate interest, not to mention Murata, who seems to hold the WBA 'regular' title.
Big money could be made matching these guys up as opponents for Saunders or GGG/Canelo.
One last thing einstein most fighters now fight 2x a Year. Which im cool with. You must be the Rtard that prefered GGG fighting 3-4 fkn CAB drivers a year.Comment

Hoping to hear his name at 160, but it's been a slow start. I think part of the problem is that the two big names just fought and will be fighting again this year. Takes some of the hype off Charlo. I think he needs to keep busy. Will be hard since no one relevant is likely to be interested, save for maybe Jacobs.Comment
