Or maybe Haymon didn't want it. Funny how other top promoters can get their top guys to fight but Haymon the most powerful man in boxing can't? You are a sucker for thinking the hold up is the fighters who have all to man said they fight who Haymon tells them too. And if it's true then Spence should go sign with one of the rival promoters today. Golden Boy was able to get Cotto to agree to fight Spence and Top Rank get's his guys to not spend years fighting each not just once but in trilogies and shyt. While Spence has to sit on the shelf 9 months for a title shot and then sits out 8 months after that just to fight bum Peterson and now will waste another 4-6 months fighting another bum all because Haymon can't get ANYONE in his stable to fight him? SUUUURE

Porter and Garcia are waiting on their big money rematches with Thurman. They aren't doing anything to mess that up. Haymon just gotta work with that.

Read between the lines-Thurman requesting rematch clause vs J Vargas so scenario such as, lose to J Vargas in April, rematch in September, skip Spence in 2018 and possibly forever. Jesse will have to agree to rematch clause or no fight with Thurman. Spence will end Thurman's career if they ever meet!!

The IBF seemingly made Errol Spence Jr.'s decision on his next opponent for him. According to a story posted by ESPN.com on Tuesday, the New Jersey-based sanctioning organization has ordered Spence to make a mandatory defense of his IBF welterweight title against Carlos Ocampo.

The IBF is a joke. They always find clowns from some comedy clubs and make them mandatory. You remember how Kell Brook used to somehow fight bums in the name of mandatories? How come they never rank people with a pulse?

GB could get Cotto to fight Spence? GB was asking for options and Spence to fight Cotto. If Cotto really wanted to fight Spence or Garcia he would have told GB not to ask for options. GB didn't want to match Cotto against those fighters just because. And Arum could get Horn to fight Crawford because Horn signed over options for his next fights if he beat Manny. Lat I checked, Haymon already had Thurman, Porter and Danny fight one another. It's those 3 who aint willing to fight Spence. Are ok with the bums that Canelo has fought recently prior to fighting GGG?

Well of course GB, Top Rank or any rival promoter won't give Spence any big fight unless he signs options duh that's how it works. Just like Peterson, Rios, Vargas, only got these fights with big haymon names because they signed long term deals with Haymon. Spence already signed with Haymon and still ain't getting these fights. Thurman, Porter, Danny will all fight each other and Spence if Haymon lets them. All those guys were criticized for not fighting each other and better comp for YEARS and idiots said they just ducking each other. I said then no Haymon is delaying those fights they will fight each other if Haymon allows it. And after years he finally did. And that's the same phuking think I'm saying today with Spence. He's the man left out because Haymon doesn't want those fights at least not right now.

Canelo fought Mosley, Trout, Mayweather, Lara, Cotto, Chavez all fights fans were asking for BEFORE fighting GGG and he's phuking younger then Spence who still hasn't fought anyone but a damaged goods Brook who was viciously KO'd the fight before. Again I don't buy this BS that the fighters are all scared and if Haymon really can't get guys in his own damn stable to fight him then he should of took that Golden Boy deal to fight Cotto last year or needs to sign with Top Rank. Because if Golden Boy can get Cotto to fight Spence and Top Rank can get a guy like Horn to fight Crawford (who everyone thinks is going to destroy him) but Haymon can't get Thurman, Porter, Danny to fight Spence? Sorry I don't buy it.

how else would you describe porters excuse to not wanting to fight spence other than scared. Haymon is the one who pays these guys and Spence is now being paid purses just like those guys are. Drawing just the same ratings on Showtime and doing about the same attendance headlining the same arenas. A fight with Spence vs Thurman is bigger then a rematch with either guy.

Using the excuse Spence don't bring a belt to the table don't work he has the IBF, he doesn't draw don't work he just headlined barclays and drew 12,107.

These guys are all in the same pot in terms of money being paid, attendance they generate and will be paid virtually the same amount if they fight Spence or each other. Stop the excuses it's simple these guys fight who they are told none have control of their careers. If anything Haymon is worried that if he puts Spence in with either guy now and he destroys them then he can't make money off their rematches. So he is sitting Spence on the sideline till they get their rematches and then going to throw them in with Spence and cashes them out.
