First off, the Danny Garcia fight, the Felix Diaz fight, and the David Avenesayan fight were all contested at welterweight, so there goes that drivel.

Beyond that, if you're honestly going to publicly stand out and say that Berto, Collazo, Horn, and Figueroa are all fighters you'd have as favorites against Peterson, that's on you, lol.

Stop 2 were catchweights against other 140lb fighters below the 147 weight limit. Only 1 of those fights were real welterweight fights at 147 and Peterson won only 1 of those fights. And has looked bad in the 2 times he's actually fought in the last what almost 3 years? he's been totally inactive and his success was at 140 a long time ago has literally done nothing at 147 which is where Spence fights. He was in his prime half a decade ago when he got iced by matthysse. He a old inactive career 140lb fighter. Berto, horn, collazo, figueroa all have better wins and/or more fights at 147 then peterson does that's just a fact. Peterson became a welterweight for the first time his fight before Spence then took a year off before that took another year off after looking like shyt in a fight everybody knows he lost to 140lb Diaz who got crushed by Crawford LMAO

I would rather see Spence fight and stay active than be benched. The IBF and their mando system just doesn't make sense.

I totally agree 100%. If Haymon called Daryl or Lindsey and expressed interest in fighting Spence, Porter would be ranked in about 10 seconds.

People like to bash the IBF when a fight they dont like is mandated. I agree that sometimes the IBF mandos are dog****, (morrade hakkar, dominic wade, etc) but its certainly the best of the 4 sanctioning bodies, because the others simply appoint whomever they want to the #1 spot, and then they dont enforce a mando for 3 or 4 years, if ever. At least the IBF requires you to fight a mando or a unification at least once every 9 months.

Hang-on wasnt the WBOs mand for Jeff Horn Crawford and that fight is being made.
