Well, if Amir Khan supposedly became the mandatory to Mayweather's championship titles / title, which is something commonly accepted and proclaimed by many individuals. Then, by virtue of avoiding a bout against his mandatory means that Mayweawther clearly ducked Amir Khan and there is no ifs and buts about this. Unless someone accepts avoiding a bout against a mandatory is something that isn't a duck. That isn't the case with me however.

Furthermore, Mayweather also held a poll asking fans to vote who he should box against next for his next bout and most voted Amir Khan out of other options which included Maidana. Yet, despite Maidana having less votes for being Mayweather's next opponent, Mayweather still ends up boxing against Maidana rather than Amir khan. In other words, a refusal to stick to his claim / words. In other words, being a liar.

• 2-2 at the time this fight was to take place
• Knocked down and wobbled in his last fight vs. Diaz
• Coming off of a slightly longer than 1 year lay-off
• Had no title at welterweight (Maidana was WBA champ)
• DID NOT HAVE EVEN ONE FIGHT AT WELTERWEIGHT
