Does Spence remind you of GGG?

They don't have the same style but you could how they apply a somewhat similar way of winning. Both apply constant pressure that eventually breaks down fighters. Both have good body work. Spence and GGG both get hit but still go forward and mentally drain a opponent. Spence also from the Brook and Peterson fight i noticed does not like being pushed back kinda like GGG and both do the best when going forward and applying the pressure.

Spence's footwork if impressive- not that GGG's isn't, but GGG's is more positional than anything.

Spence is not more skilled, fool. Spence is a huge welterweight, which is a factor. Golovkin was never a big middleweight, just an average sized one.

I remind you that Golovkin was a multi world champion amateur and his skills are applauded by most people except some blind haters.

He has the same kind of style, i'd say he is far more athletic than Golovkin which maybe seems like he is more skilled than him to some people... idk yet if he actually is.

            Very true.

You only have to look at his amateur background and what he's done as a pro to see how skilled he is. The problem is, people think you have to be fast and slick to be skilled because they don't really know what they're looking at otherwise when it's more subtle.

That said, i think GGG has been guilty sometimes of abandoning his skills and falling in love with his power but he's very skilled at what he does in general.

Spence has far more tools. Combination, punch variety, better footwork, faster, better defence. He's just all around better.

In a way yes. But a step up in opponents for Spence would truly tell us the difference, we shall see soon enough. If spence disperse someone like Crawford or Thurman then he would have handled the step up in the quality of opponents better than GGG has so far with his step up.
