I looked up Epix and they have a stand alone app. Does the HBO app have streaming of live shows? Can you get a subscription without having a subscription on a set top box?

Showtime has dedicated feed for the lives stuff. HBO Now doesn't. I've been able to watch Game of Thrones at the same time a new episode premiers but I have to go directly to the series page on the app to do so. There is no dedicated portion where it allows you to watch live streams from the various HBO channels like Showtime does.
