Spence is great but he'll get killed against Canelo or GGG

I agree. I think he is the best welterweight in the world and those two are probably the 2 best middleweights in the world. He has no trouble making 147 and he is strong as a bull, hits extremely hard and has great stamina and punch resistance at 147. Clearly he is not drained at 147 and has no logical reason to go to 154 or 160. GGG and Canelo are full sized middleweights with a 13 pound natural weight, strength and power advantage so I think they beat him. If he was a true natural middleweight him might beat them but he is a great welterweight and at age 28 is unlikely to grow bigger. Let him kick ass at his best weight of 147. If making 147 becomes hard he will know to move to 154. Brook fought both GGG and Spence and he said after he fought Spence that GGG is too big and hits too hard for Spence and would win for sure.

I wouldn't say it is completely out of the question. I like Spence and I want him to succeed. But there is still a lot of unexplored territory at 147 before I'm sold on Spence running up to 154 and 160 and cleaning out divisions. I need to see him against the likes of Thurman, Crawford, Charlo at 154, and then we can talk about his chances at 160.

He might eventually make it to middle weight but there is no reason to rush him there. Its not like he is a six footer killing himself to make weight. He looks to my eye to be in the right division at the moment. Golovkin will be gone I suspect before Spence goes to middle weight, Canelo may still be there.

There is no welterweight out there that is going to hurt canelo or GGG. Both have elite chins. If you beat them you will need to outbox them because you not dropping them. Spence is not more skilled then canelo. Canelo has faster hands, better defense, bigger, stronger and oh yeah he's actually younger then spence who does not have a fraction of the big fight experience. I cant think of a single advantage he has against canelo right now. And GGG has almost the same fighting style as spence but is bigger and more efficient at it. If he fought either guy today it would be a disaster.

In my opinion Spence would have a better shot at beating Canelo because Canelo is more of a boxer (than Golovkin), by a significant margin.

That would give Errol much more of a chance of surviving for longer, where he could try to out brawl Canelo in spots.

GGG on the other hand...he wants you toe to toe right in front of him. Which is Spence's forte.

GGG would just walk right through him like he did Brook. GGG would eat some shots against Errol for as long as it lasted but Gennady is just way too f**king big. As cliche as it is...this is why there are weight classes. This is why this saying exists. Errol is way more of a brawler than a boxer and every naturally smaller brawler who tries to go toe to toe against Golovkin is gonna get chopped down. And probably within the first 6 rounds.

Errol is a bad motherf**ker but he's not big enough to go toe to toe with Gennady freaking Golovkin.

spence wouldn't last as long brook did against ggg. something tells me spence isn't ultra durable.
