It looks like you're trying to build confidence by believing any old nonsense now. And we're a couple of months out from the fight.

Wonder what Parker will say in the week leading up to the fight? Maybe he got some good sparring with an intergalactic being?

You were cautious of the punches from Takam and Ruiz, but you're going to smile at AJ's punches?? Sure you are. Whilst lying on the canvas knocked out. With stars floating around your head too.

    See you in march.

Parker has only one knock out after the fifth round it seems to a Jason Bergman 25 and 11 . Against Takam he was rocked backwards in the 9th rnd by a counter right hand ( Joshua IS a counter puncher )in a entire fight that looked like Takam took a sedative . lol

The more i look into the match the more i see just how easily Joshua should win . Wheather its early or late in the fight ,theres literally no angle you could favor Parker in .

      It's true.

To me, it seems like AJ is a little too full of himself and started to believe his own hype a little too early. It is not surprising since, after all, he's only 28 and became a megastar in his country within a year.

If they ever fight, Fury will break him mentally before the fight which might affect his performance in the ring.

Hell, even corny Wilder might mess with his head if he plays his cards right.

Joshua's said numerous times that he wants to unify the division. Hence why he's going after Parker now that his mandatory with Pulev/Takam has been taken care of.

He and Hearn, no doubt, sees the wilder fight as:

        (a) the tougher fight
        (b) the bigger fight, which will benefit from more hype

so I don't see any evidence that he "don't want that work" by taking the Parker fight first.

If he beat Wilder and then unified against Parker there wouldn't be anything like as much hype because people would see the result as a foregone conclusion. But the public see AJ Wilder as something of a 50/50 fight. That's the fight you want to ultimately unify the belt, not against a guy in Parker who hasn't looked all that convincing in his last 2 or 3 outings. Wilder's finally gaining some deserved recognition, and if the American public get behind him then the money to be made would skyrocket.

If there are reasonable doubts about the fight not getting made, I'd say they should be about Wilder ducking, rather than Joshua. Why's that, you ask?

Firstly, Wilder has shown an unwillingness to step up his level of competition. Stiverne is the only credible name on his resume and even then, he likely took this fight because (like Joshua and Charles Martin) it was a relatively easy belt to win. Stiverne's only real credible name is Chris f**king Arreola so there are doubts about his quality in the first place - his defence basically involves blocking punches with his face and his feet are stuck in cement, Wilder's always going to have a field day with an opponent like that.

You can mention Povetkin and Ortiz, and I definitely sympathise with Wilder there, but ultimately his record speaks for itself, the names on that list are pretty weak. Klitschko was around for years for Wilder to face and he held all of the belts but Wilder didn't really make a big noise about facing him and missed the chance. If he'd beaten Klitschko (and I have no doubt, he would've given Klitschko problems) then no doubt the bargaining position between him and AJ would be reversed. That leads into my second point.

Secondly, Wider's gone on record saying 50/50 or no chance the fight happens. That's some ludicrous s**t when you consider the money that each of them are currently making and the fact that (assuming AJ beats Parker) AJ will have 3 belts to Wilder's 1.
I've read people talking about "negotiating positions" and what not, but the level of absolutism with which he phrased it suggests to me that it was a little more than that. He's giving himself an out even now, in my opinion.

So yeah. Overall, I don't think Joshua's avoiding Wilder. He and Hearn have repeatedly talked about Wilder being next (in the summer, which would generate more buzz and more revenue)

I'm not gonna speculate on who'd win that fight, but if there are any doubts about one of the fighter's being willing to step up his competition to make the fight, I'd argue it would be from the guy who fought Jason Gavern and Eric Molina 32nd and 34th in his career rather than the guy who fought them 11th and 18th

It’s funny that he finds it strange that he’s defending himself over the price knockdown as it happened when it was an armature but I find it even stranger that his team brought it up tbh.

Doesn’t matter if Parker has a iron jaw to be honest his body’s still is still soft

If a lump like Joshua is constantly tagging you it will take its toll pretty quick

Can’t see him making the later rounds unless he’s running all night .... which is what’s gonna happen

Still choking on Wilder's nuts fella? AJ is afraid of the guy who was wobbling against Molina. Lay off the crack pipe and take them Wilder nuts outta your mouth 😂

Parker is going to look just as bad as Whyte and Martin did after the fight. Both of them were talking all kinds of smack and then after the fight they were memes hahah. This approach that Parker is taking is the wrong one and it's only going to get him KOed quicker by AJ. He will make his money, but man, there are other ways to make that money pal hahah. I am sure that his team will have a ready-made excuse after the fight too.

Also, I laugh at Parker and his team bringing up everything they can against AJ, but Parker hasn't had a KO in years now. And speaking of laughing at punches, look at the Parker vs Cojanu fight. Cojanu literally laughs every time Parker throws a punch at his. Parker never even came close to knocking him down or out. But he's supposed to be a giant killer now and KO AJ??? Nah man
