arum wants horn for pac (always did).

pac heard that an investor is willing to drop big money for a pac vs khan fight in the UAE.

manny then put up the poll with khan's name to show arum that the fans want a fight with khan instead. he was trying to lure arum to go with khan because this is the only way the fight can happen if arum is on board.

when the big money offer proved not to be true, pac had to go with the guy who arum wanted him to fight in the first place, and that's horn!

Nobody is buying it. Arum wanted him to fight Crawford, Pacquiao said no. Arum wanted him to fight Horn Pacquiao said no (at first). Arum never wanted the Khan fight but Pacquiao went against Arum and started negotiating anyway. When Pacquiao realised he wasn't going to get a mega payday he decided to duck Khan and fight Horn.
