Arum will be dead by then... hopefully.

Interesting though. Lou basically just admitted that there's some private money tied up in that Top Rank - ESPN deal. Wish we got some public info on that.
I'm fairly certain that the "private money" likely refers to a possible Spence-Crawford fight going beyond what Arum can put on an ESPN show for (keeping some of the ESPN money for himself), and likely needing Espnppv to cover (of which DiBella seems to think that ESPN will not cover

I've seen a few people post about "ESPN PPV". I don't think I've ever seen ESPN do a PPV. Am I going crazy? Lol

Wow, I never knew. I just pulled up this old a*s press release and website for that fight. Classic stuff. I'm sure they lost a lot of cash on that one lol

Ehhh, kinda favoring Bud in this one. Arum already said this is a PPV fight and he has to build an outdoor stadium in Omaha before this fight can happen.

Agree with the post except Ponomarev who keeps turning down eliminators.

Good win for Spence. He can only fight who is willing to. Honestly Lamont is only about the same level of fighter as Felix Diaz though. Bud vs Spence is 50/50.
