But he simply doesn't need to, so why should he entertain the idea now?

He's the biggest draw in heavyweight boxing. He makes squillions in his own backyard. Putting any serious consideration into fighting overseas in the near future only does one thing - temporarily shuts up people complaining, before they find something else to complain about.

America has a lot more options for entertainment. Boxing isn't a huge sport here anymore. Anthony Joshua is a big fish in a small pond. Wilder is a big fish in an ocean. Much easier for Joshua to stand out in England.

There's no need to cross the pond for a chicken-legged biitch with a paper belt who's most famous fight was against an internet troll.

Financially a terrible decision for Joshua. If Joshua ever wants to make real money, then he has to come to America. "Oh but he fills up stadiums with 70k fans, he makes so much more money in the UK." Flat wrong. Klitskcho fight made $9M in live gate and around $50M in PPV (consider that PPVs in UK are only $20). The comparable live gate and PPV revenue in the U.S. make those numbers look silly. Canelo and Mayweather easily make over $25M in live gate and 20k attendance arenas. There is also no question that the U.S. PPV Market is more lucrative. PPVs in U.S. cost $60+ while in the Uk the cost $20. There is a reason why all the highest grossing and highest paid boxers fight in the U.S. and not in any other country.
Maybe he has to build himself up the U.S. to make huge money, but the only way to build him up in the U.S. is by having him fight here.
Eddie is cheating AJ of hundreds of millions of dollars. We all know the reason why he's not fighting over here - Uncle Eddie wants to keep in the U.K to keep milking him there.
But if he's satisfied making $15M as he has been doing - then go ahead keep filling up stadiums in the UK, where he is already peaking. If he ever wants to make $50M+ then he'll need to come fight in the U.S.. Wont happen overnight, but the first step is building him up here by having fight here. UK fans travel well and im sure would love to go to Vegas.

He will fight in the US.. He is making millions fighting in the UK but the UK is so small that he will reach his peak in the UK soon.. At his peak he can earn around 30mil per fight tops (Fury fight is a one off 100mil fight) but it won't grow much more than 30mill after that as the UK population just isn't big enough.

Once you've sold out Wembley a few times you'll want something new and new money.. Mayweather made Vegas his home and never fought outside of America getting 30/40mil per fight. When you're the A side yoy choose where your opponent fights you. But Mayweather didn't have to fight outside Vegas as Vegas paid the most anywhere in the world.. AJ will sooner or later get an offer from Vegas that is more than what UK can offer besides uk fans will stay up till 5am and still buy his fights if he fights in America so he'll get UK and US money.. Trust me he'll fight in America.

Why would Vegas offer him to come if heavyweight division is dead in America for years?
