Once you've sold out Wembley a few times you'll want something new and new money.. Mayweather made Vegas his home and never fought outside of America getting 30/40mil per fight. When you're the A side yoy choose where your opponent fights you. But Mayweather didn't have to fight outside Vegas as Vegas paid the most anywhere in the world.. AJ will sooner or later get an offer from Vegas that is more than what UK can offer besides uk fans will stay up till 5am and still but his fights if he fights in America so he'll get UK and US money.. Trust me he'll fight in America.
There's a lot of truth to this.

Vegas can pay more than anyone else if they really want a fight.

That's why Canelo vs Golovkin wasn't at the Dallas Cowboys stadium, even though they could have easily sold 100,000 seats there.

20k real fans? Mega events like This Canelo vs GGG or Pacquiao vs Mayweather didn't have real fans.. They had rich high roller gamellers. The average price of a ticket to watch Mayweather vs Mcgregor was the $7,000. Do you think real boxing fans pay $7,000 for 36mins of boxing? No.. They are just rich gamellers. When you watch the fight you can tell the atmosphere is dead. But the fights in UK have crazy atmosphere.. Real boxing fans that cheer throughout the fight and cheer for the loser in the end if he gave it his best. In the US fighters get booed and stuff thrown at them.

The truth is Vegas isn't a good place for fans of boxing as most boxing fans can't afford the prices there. Even if heavyweight boxing isn't as big in the US as it was in Tyson era, Vegas doesn't really care. Vegas just needs a star who can put on a mega event.. The people that will go to the fight won't be boxing fans, they'll be rich gamblers. Vegas just needs an event to attract people.. AJ is a star even though in the US he's not a star he can become one if he keeps winning and if he beats Wilder in Vegas he can fight guys like Big Baby Miller in Vegas aswell and make millions.

True boxing is a business so you'll go wherever the most money is. If GGG vs Canelo happened in Cowboys they would have had to pay to book the stadium.. Vegas is the only place in the world that pays you to host your fight there..its all casino money. So even if GGG vs Canelo sold out 100k stadium they wouldn't make as much as they'd have to pay for the stadium and the average ticket price would be way less (better for boxing fans but not for business).

This is typical AJ and Eddie Hearn talking out of both sides of their mouths. AJ gave the interview over a week ago saying Wilder is next in Vegas, then backtracks again. Eddie also mentioned Wilder as next for Vegas. Fortunately, Wilder does not care where he gets to whoop AJ. AJ just needs to choose the location for his ass whooping. That's all.

"Oh but he fills up stadiums with 70k fans, he makes so much more money in the UK." Flat wrong. Klitskcho fight made $9M in live gate and around $50M in PPV (consider that PPVs in UK are only $20). The comparable live gate and PPV revenue in the U.S. make those numbers look silly. Canelo and Mayweather easily make over $25M in live gate and 20k attendance arenas. There is also no question that the U.S. PPV Market is more lucrative. PPVs in U.S. cost $60+ while in the Uk the cost $20. There is a reason why all the highest grossing and highest paid boxers fight in the U.S. and not in any other country.
Maybe he has to build himself up the U.S. to make huge money, but the only way to build him up in the U.S. is by having him fight here.
Eddie is cheating AJ of hundreds of millions of dollars. We all know the reason why he's not fighting over here - Uncle Eddie wants to keep in the U.K to keep milking him there.
But if he's satisfied making $15M as he has been doing - then go ahead keep filling up stadiums in the UK, where he is already peaking. If he ever wants to make $50M+ then he'll need to come fight in the U.S.. Wont happen overnight, but the first step is building him up here by having fight here. UK fans travel well and im sure would love to go to Vegas.
$15m is a lot of money, he’s a sensible guy, two or three more fights and he can choose to retire, live a life of luxury and never worry about money again. In the age of crazy money fights like Mayweathers showtime contract, everyone thinks this is possible, it’s really not, look at Wilder, 39 fights, world champ, crazy KO stats, $1.4m last fight. By comparison Joshua is playing to his loyal fans and making 10x more, very smart

Unless the american market picks up i doubt he would fight there, the only reason i could see is if he wants to due to the "I once fought in Madison square garden" story to his kids.
