Clearly an idiot or a troll lol. You don't need to be an AJ fan to see he is a big drawer, his opponents have been great to be fair, some big fights in such a small period. There is no other heavyweight who could guarantee selling. A stadium out against any fighter at all, in fact pretty much all would love to against anybody.

Per the point around Parker being worth what he is paid, that is obviously true but it's the belt that really makes it. I don't buy into that Joshua had to make this fight against Parker or Wilder, he's still got so long left to make those fights if he had wanted to Put them off. Wilder has done double he fights without similarly trying to unify, the difference is his will to want to do so because of the belt.

As you say, in a negotiation your worth is what someone is willing to pay at that moment in time It is actually irrelevant as to what Parker has made in the past or what Parker will make in the future. Due to his holding a belt, being undefeated and the fact that Joshua was under pressure to make a big fight it turned out he is worth 12 million dollars at this particular time in the market. Eddie Hearn is strictly incorrect when he says he is over paying Parker, what he SHOULD be saying is that he is paying Parker more than he wants to, which is simply down to good tough negotiations from Parker’s team.

If Parker was asking for say 20 million Eddie Hearn would look at the PPV, ticket sales, Joshua’s cut and probably say, “sorry I can’t afford that, you are pricing yourself out of this fight.” The fact that Hearn has looked at all the revenue and costs and is still willing to pay Parker 12 million tells me that in fact Parker’s team have priced themselves correctly. They must’ve done as they have a signed contract as proof, LOL.

SID though believes Parker should leave a staggering 4 million bucks on the table just to prove he’s not a coward or some such thing. You certainly wouldn’t want him negotiating your next pay rise, hahaha
      Absolutely, positively nailed it.

Quite simply because he was the mandatory he was locked in for the fight. he didn't have to lobby for it, he had earned it by becoming the mandatory.

This fight is a unification fight, which means that it is at Joshua and Hearn's discretion as to whether they take it or not. Hence they started ribbing Joshua somewhat, puncturing his pride in the hopes of goading him into taking the fight. It seems to have worked.

you're kidding right? AJ could fight you and sell out the stadium in one day. No issue whatsoever. People love him and his personality. He's not exactly Klitschko.

          Carefully picked opponents... Jesus.
