THis is how it happens. THe newcomes have to show you haven't got it anymore. Only Floyd didn't want that to happen. And you do that by not fighting the toughest challengers, aka cherrypicking.
But even though the new kids on the block get a massive name on their resume, people know they didn't beat the prime version. So even though the new kid will be happy they got a massive name and legend on their resume, boxing fans put the win into perspective.

That's why Terry Norris win over SRL hasn't made Norris an ATG and isn't considered a great great win.

Great Post.....and may I add that the Scientist of the Sweet Science do remember when a particular fighter cherry picked and hopscotched his way around.

This clown just had to make it about Floyd. Just couldn't help yourself. You need to stop worrying about Floyd, and worry about Manny turning into an undercard fighter.

ARUM holds the PED carrot over PACS head so look for him to milk PAC until they carry him out of the ring. He doesn't want ARUM to exposed the PED situation. Look for PAC to stay with top stank and fight as long as they want him to.

he has been on the downward since that marquez ko, which wasn't exactly surprising. I can't see him catching another wind this late with his very age-prohibitive style.

Jeff Horn was a cherry pick. Pacquiao ducked Crawford and is continuing to do so.

Pac can cherry pick as he has had 20 fights more than Floyd. Plus he will fight a dangerous opponent after a cherry pick. Pac will go out on his shield.
Floyd on the other hand cherry picks after cherry pick. He don't cherry pick and then fight GGG, or even Spence, brook or Thurman.

                  Soon flip flopped.

Pacquiao is allowed to cherry pick.

The Mayweather fight showed Pacquiao wasn't willing to go out on his shield at all. Guys like Hatton showed far more effort to win than Pacquiao did.

And Hatton GTFO inside 2 rounds, so much for his effort

I was talking about the Mayweather fight. But i respect Hatton more for actually willing to give it his all. Pacquiao didn't, he never went for it when knowing he was far behind on points and then made excuses.

Hatton could have just survived and made excuses like Pacquiao did. He chose to go out trying to win instead. A true warrior.
