Hard to do when everyone is ducking your fighter, we we'd have gotten Gvozdyk vs Alvarez otherwise

Very happy to prove myself if you make it worth my while. Otherwise, I'm not going to compromise a business relationship when there is no benefit to me whatsoever.

In other words I've done business with the parties involved and have access to numbers you don't. You have no proof Fonfara made more than Alvarez. You're just guessing. I'm not guessing. You want me to reveal private information, but you've given me no incentive. Put your money where your mouth is and I'll be happy to comply.

But even if you just look at things logically, Alvarez has already admitted publicly he bypassed the title shot because he was offered more money for the other fights. This is how Haymon structures his "step aside" fees. He doesn't actually pay a step aside fee, he just offers an inflated purse for a different fight. Look at what Stiverne was going to make against Breazeale. That purse was his incentive to step aside. There wasn't a step aside fee in addition to that.

Well enough to have made full time living in it for 20 years, yes.

False. Stiverne was going to get $675,000 to fight Breazeale, which was way more than the fight was worth and more than Stiverne would have made against Wilder, which is why Stiverne agreed to step aside.

This is always how Haymon has gotten guys to step aside. Offer more for a different fight. Haymon doesn't like traditional step aside fees.
