Cong**** to Team Loma for the triple crown.

Also, all those who hyped up Rigo vs. Loma you deserve this. You don't get to whine and moan now. You were the ones picking Rigo to win, you were the ones that said it was 50/50 and the best fight of all time between 2 gold medallists. Well, if that's the case, then the winner has to be Fighter of the year. I said it was going to be lopsided and a beatdown. My pick would've gone to Sor Rungivisai. Oh well.

Trainer of the year is tough because Derrick James had a really good year and was certainly deserving. But Usually the award goes to the trainer of the fighter of the year.

Unifying in a weak division doesn't mean ****. It's always level of competition.

Loma's competition was far superior to Crawford's, it's laughable that he would be even considered number 2.

Arum and Roach are bringing you Manny Pacquiao on a platter! He might be old, but he 's still a bigger draw than Mikey Garcia! ESPN PPVs on deck! You have to do it! Don't play yourself!
I agree, hes acting like if he beat Pacquiao people wont give him credit, but thats bs because most people think he beat Jeff Horn and hes only really lost to Floyd and a roided up marquez who he had already beat twice. He has the oplortunity to fight him now wheras of he waits Crawford will likely fight him in the fall and win and then a fight with Pacquiao will really not be realistic for Loma. I hate to say it but I think Loma is worried about the weight difference. Pacquiao is used to schooling bigger guys so imagine what he would do to fighters his own size. I still think Loma wins if they can do a catchweight in the middle at 137-139, it would be a big ppv and hed be fighting on ppv from then on if he won. Changing of the guard fights happen its tradition, Hopkins - Joe Smith, Oscar DLH-Pacquiao, Ali-Holmes, Holmes Tyson ect.

Crawford dominated an Olympic Gold Medalist and a unified champion in Julious Indongo. Both fighters were predicted to give Crawford his first loss, or to at least give him a tough fight. And Crawford made them look less than ordinary.

Lomachenko only dominated one great fighter in 2017, which is enough for him to win FOTY. But I would also pick Crawford over Lomachenko.

I don't remember people saying Indongo and Diaz will beat Crawford.
Maybe there was a few but there is always a few people that pick the underdog. I remember people saying that Sosa was going to give Loma hell or even beat him. Should people start making a bigger deal about that?
Just because a few people pick them doesn't mean much.

There was a lot of people saying that Rigo was going to beat Loma though. It wasn't just a few.

That's all people use to hype up Diaz. He was an Olympic Gold Medalist because he never did anything as a pro.
At least Sosa won a World Title and has better wins than Diaz has.
Also, Diaz was very lucky to get the Olympic Gold Medal.
The 2008 Olympics actually produced some great Gold Medalist, but Diaz was probably the worst one; he was down there at the very least.
He got at least one gift decision against Alex Vastine.
