Comments Thread For: Ohara Davies Inks Pact With MTK, Very Apologetic Over Mishaps

Ohara Davies hopes he can get his career back on track after signing a management deal with MTK Global. Davies (16-1, 13KOs) has been out of the ring since his sixth-round stoppage victory over Tom Farrell nearly four months ago following a contentious tweet from the divisive Londoner last month, which led to a public backlash and his subsequent ring absence.

Two of the most controversial boxers (fury, Davies) in one of the most controversial promotional companies(owners are said to be the Kinahan drug cartel)

Nothing to apologise for. The Scouse shouldn't be so sensitive about everything.

MTK is like the Al Haymon of the UK.

How big is there roster now? Definitely a lot of name guys in that roster even if its not 200 deep.

Ive read some new articles about the guys that own MTK and they pretty much insinuate that they are the Sinaloa Cartels European connect, lol.

Framptons new trainer Jamie Moore got shot 5 times in a hit gone wrong.

Oh yea they are legit gangstas or going for that vibe at a minimum it seems (I got no clue about all that, but those stories have crossed the pond), but I was just speaking on their accumulation of talent as of late. Seems like they got quite the roster.

Wonder if this MTK deal is some money washing scam.

Lots of Irish fighters, Fury and Saunders are with them aswell. But yeah, seem to be branching out more and more recently. Theres a list here http://mtkglobal.com/boxers/

This one could be that Hearns got shot of him though. Seemed it could of been heading that way in an interview Hearn done earlier this week. Davies' trainer and manager severed ties with him even before Hearn took him off that card.

I was under the impression that barely anyone is with MTK Global.

I know they recently signed Fury, Frampton and Saunders. Prior to that I don't know anyone they have.

Check out the link Randall just posted.

There site is pretty clunky or my internet is being sketchy so I didn't go through there entire roster, but I went through half-ish of their divisions & had already counted 50 guys.

I'd guesstamate they got 70-100 guys unless the divisions I didn't check are more barren the ones I did check.

They seem to have a lot of Boxers, not sure about 100 though.

But the one's I've heard of I can count on 2 hands and have have a few fingers left over.

The only big names I see are Tyson, Frampton and Saunders who are all recent signings.

Dunno, just don't see the Haymon esque factor considering they are pretty small time really.
