Saunders wont give anything to Jacobs/Hearn, says itll have to be on his terms. Charlo fighting for WBC interim. Andrade apparently in talks with Derevyanchenko. Murray is ranked 10 by the TBRB. Only other available fighter would be Murata, but theyve got a hell of a lot of tickets to try and sell for this fight, Murray has name recognition

I guess this is a stay busy fight.

Murray is decent and durable but his career is well on the decline.

Agree with most comments. Saunders could certainly have chosen an easier voluntary, so props to him for picking Murray and, more importantly, staying busy. Hopefully he lands a big one in 2018.

          Murray should fight Lemieux!

I’d like to see Lemieux rematch with BJS. Just to hear the excuses

Weak ass fight. Still it keeps Saunders busy. Not a bad idea.

Great fight. Anyone understands the game knows this is a good scrap and logical. Murray comes to fight can't wait!

so Billy finally gets the respect of the people after dominating lemieux and he follows it up with a fight nobody gives a damn about.

Murray's better days are behind him, but it makes sense i suppose since BJS has his eye on the GGG/Canelo winner.

Keeping active is something he needs to do for sure.

In the same vein... Jacobs ans Charlo should be fighting each other. Or would you disagree?

                      exactly

Saunders is waiting for the Canelo/Golovkin winner

Murray is a good, known, home-grown, opponent
