Freddy trying to cash Manny out. Roach won't let Manny fight TC because TC finishes the crooked Filipino, but Roach thinks Manny might be too big for Loma. So Arum trying to milk Manny - whatever attraction he might have left - into Loma
Dude Manny was the biggest thing in boxing for years and fighter of the decade and Floyd was retired. Remember that.
Years from now it's Pacquiao fights people will still be watching , not fluffy. Best offensive fighter of this generation and his resume speaks for itself

ONE poster mentioned Mayweather before you did in this thread. And that was only to say Manny would ask for a rematch with him.

You did well proving my point. You're going to have to start looking in the mirror, homie. You seem to mention Mayweather a whole lot for someone who despises him, don't you think?
Do more research if it really matters to you. You'll notice a majority of posters who insist Manny should fight Crawford are Floyd fans based upon their posting history and bias. I'm pointing out the hypocrisy that none of them thought Floyd should fight a young, prime lion towards the end of his career, yet they think Manny should.

Yet if someone defends Mayweather against your accusation, you'd rail about them being obsessed with him.

The irony is THAT is the hypocrisy. You hate on the dude even in threads that have absolutely nothing to do with him. Attack Mayweather as much as you like....but don't dare defend him. Seems to be your motto.

What do you think of Freddie Roach saying that Pac walks around at 138?

Pacquiao is blatantly ducking Crawford who would have taken the fight at 140 lbs.

But this is nothing new. Team Pacquiao has carefully cherry picked for him his entire career, they avoided Zahir Raheem after he beat Erik Morales. And Roach wanted nothing to do with Shane Mosley until he got old.

For one thing, I don't follow or post in every Mayweather thread. But on any given day there are several of them on the board. Law of averages--eventually I'll post in some of them and offer my opinion and observations as well as some facts. I don't know why my OPINION and OBERSERVATIONS offend you so much. You take criticism of Mayweather way too personal.

I don't know what Pacquiao walks around at, and neither do you. If Freddie says 138, he likely has more insight than anyone on this forum. Though, Pac has entered the ring at 154 or so, so I'm not sure if he bulks up for fights or what his exact training methods are but he does take in a lot of calories while training for fights. We do know that Crawford walks around at 177+.

Dude, you keep going on and on about what offends me and what I take personally. None of this shlt offends me. I'm pointing out that when YOU discuss Mayweather and I respond, you rant about me defending him. You do realize that YOU are in just about every thread attacking him, including this one that has nothing to do with him. Told you that in the last thread, and lo and behold, here you are doing it here. Just found that to be interesting. I responded to your post from hours and hours ago, yet you claim I came running right away. I posted in this thread a long time ago...and I didn't mention anything about Mayweather. Came back to see how the discussion was going..and here you were talking about Mayweather.

What do you think of this statement from Pacquiao:

"This is the last weight division I'm going to fight in and I think my trainer will be happy to hear that because 154 is too big for me and 147 is my regular weight," he said.

What do you think of this statement from Pacquiao:
Check again detective, I don't post in all or nearly all of the Floyd threads. I do notice that from your post history a large majority of your posts land in either a Mayweather or Pacquiao thread. I talk about other boxers, and I post in the lounge, I don't obsess over Floyd the way you do. The fact that you are singling out my posts on various threads tells me you are obsessed with me and with defending Floyd. Everyone around here knows this.

Now you want to know what I think of Pac not fighting again at 154 and staying at 147. Well, 147 is where the money fights were/are. Pretty simple. Pac is just shy of 5'6", so it's not an outrageous claim that he walks around in the neighborhood of 140. He was never a weight bully like Crawford or M. Garcia. Never had to drain himself down 30+ pounds to fight smaller opponents. What's the problem?

Obsessed with you? Dude. Give me a break. I post on whatever I want to post on. You seem more obsessed about what I post on than the other way around. How about this....if you want to post about Floyd...do it. But stop complaining when someone debates you about your statements. Who cares if I post a billion times about Mayweather. I try to back up everything I say with facts and evidence. So what's the problem. If you don't like what I say to you when you are busy hating on him, then don't post about him. I thought the point of the reply button is that we can discuss these things.

No no no. The 154 part of that quote was irrelevant. I'm just pointing out that he himself said that his normal weight is 147.

He is on record at being over 147 before fights.
He often weighs in at 146ish
                  He rehydrates to 152ish.

It's highly unlikely that he walks around at 138. That was my only point. People keep pretending he's so small when he is about the same damn size as Mayweather.

I'm not the one initiating contact and quoting you in these threads, in case you haven't noticed. You target me.

As for Pac, he and Floyd are not the same size. Floyd is about three inches taller and if you just look at them side by side you can see the difference in size. Floyd has a larger frame. While they both started out at the same weight (Floyd as an amateur and Pac as a pro), and they each put on the same amount of weight over the same 15 year period, they are not in fact the same size.

My initial question remains unanswered. How many PRIME, ELITE fighters has Floyd faced who were several inches taller and 30+ pounds heavier? Certainly not any in the twilight of his career. Unless you want convince us that Berto and Mac are on the same level as Crawford.

Bro, there's no reason to play victim here. If you make a staement, I'm responding with my opinion. Relax. It's not that serious.

If you're talking about height, then correct. They aren't the same size. Weight wise they are very close. Mayweather has chicken legs and Manny's legs are massive, according to those who've seen him in person. If you look at their rehydratoin weights, they are very similar as well.

I haven't argued that he faced prime elite fighters that are 30 pounds heavier. I was asking why you were bringing that up in the first place? This is about Freddie Roach saying he'd rather Pac avoid Crawford and fight Loma instead. I seriously doubt Crawford is 30lbs heavier than Pac. I'm not sure what Crawford rehydrates to but Pacquiao rehydrates to about 152. I don't think Crawford rehydrates to 182lbs, does he? From a quick look, all I found was in 2016 he rehydrated to 157.
