    Different levels of "failure".

Failure applied to prospects refer to "guys that did well, but could've done so much more". This is true for Broner, Khan (once a highly revered prospect at one point believe it or not), GRJ (is he retired?), Ortiz (lol seriously), Dirrell (seriously), Judah, Gamboa, etc.

The above guys (and many more) all did well in terms of income and publicity, but never came close to what their "ceiling" was projected to be (PFP Top 10, etc.).

But none of those guys are failures as they all have better paying jobs than we could ever imagine.

And none of them are punching bags lol

its pretty strange that larry who said broner would be the next fighter of the decade doens't understand this. is broner more successfull than eric crumble? yes, but you said he was going to be fighter of the decade...and now you are using the well he made some money argument hmmm

you dont think broner was a punch bag against garcia? he just stood there for 12 rounds with his gloves up. he didnt even try to win.

Yet you yourself have dissed Loma for losing to salido. Floyd mayweather perpetuated this stuff...now we got people thinking a fighter's career is all but over if he takes a loss.

its best just not to lose and fight soft opposition. when you have a built in fanbase you have this luxury like floyd. when you are some foreigner probably not

Because of their own perspective, which is determined by one's own life and circumstances which leads them to believe others are experiencing the same life as they are.....and they believe they're losers..... a 25yr old MULTI-millionare, 3 division professional boxer, isnt a loser. YOU ARE if you believe thats failure.

No one you ever heard of.These people are different human beings and no one who takes the walk is a failure.Really not trying to be corny but there is WAY too many people on here bashing one fighter or the other. It seems to be more boxers, guys just get so heart broke after the next KO king gets outboxed/outthought.Too bad more could not like both for different reasons.

We as boxing fans actually slam top boxers because they lose to other top boxers without realizing that the normal boxer still has to work to jobs and fight on the weekends just to feed his damn family. Calling someone THE NEXT BRONER, BERTO OR JUDAH..HOW THE HELL IS THAT AN INSULT????? There are boxers who would give their right arm to make it to that level. IM SORRY WINNING MULTIPLE TITLES AND BECOMING A MULTI MILLIONAIRE WHILE TRAVELING THE WORK IS NOT BEING A FAILURE IN LIFE.
I agree 100% the fans of this sport are garbage. Most of the fans are agenda driven and emotional so it causes them to hate. There are plenty of boxers I dislike that I will give 100% props to (golovkin, Joshua etc.)

Ending career with no money and nothing to show for it besides battle scars and fight highlights.

If you know their names, they're probably not a failure. Unless they're Brian Sutherland.
Failures are the guys that ditch other career opportunities in order to pursue boxing and never make any money off it. Dudes that get on TV a few times at least get some money and a coaching career at the local gym.

Thought alts weren't allowed? And that both the alt and the original account should be banned if discovered?
