Predicting the future of Antonio Tarver's s*** talking

Who wants to bet that in a short time, Tarver will be calling Hopkins out for a rematch, and suggest that Bernard is a coward/*****/afraid if he doesnt accept?

I don't think it would surprise any of us in the least. Throughout his career Tarver has made a habit of talking entirely too much **** both before and after his fights. However for all that talk though I think it's obvious to fight fans that Tarver is not nearly the fighter he thinks he is.

Don't get me wrong he's a solid fighter but I think there are way too many kinks in his armor to justify his brash behavior. It's different for a Floyd Mayweather than it is an Antonio Tarver. While I strongly dislike Mayweather's attitude(as do many others), he has something Tarver lacks, the ability to back it up in the ring.

We as fight fans can only hope that the clinic Hopkins put on Tarver last night will at least silence "The Magic Man" for a while.

I wouldn't be suprised, but I'd bet he'll take another shot at Glen Johnson

Tarver will seek a 4th fight with Roy. I would bet some points on that. He has been reduced to his true self instead of the blown up fantastical version of himself that he thought he was. He will think he can still beat Roy, and providing Roy beats Ajamu, they will fight again.

        And Roy will win.

Roy is done. He should retire while his brain is intact. He is also calling out Calzaghe after apparently overlooking this Prince guy. BUt I doubt that fight will ever happen anyways.

I doubt we will Tarver for awhile. But if he fights Roy again , he will beat him. Hate to say it but Roy is done.

What did Tarver say in his post fight interview? I didn't see it.

Roy isn't done. He should retire probably, but he's still good enough to be top 10...I think. We'll see July 29 since this Ajamu guy is rated number 10 at lightheavy.

But I haven't seen Roy overlooking Ajamu and talking about Joe anywhere. Link?

Glen Johnson will lose to Clinton Woods if they fight again. Johnson is on the slide and had way more trouble with a faded Richard Hall than he should have. Woods would have put Hall to sleep.

If Tarver has to fight Woods at some point, he will lose. Woods is tall and strong and newly energized.

Here is the article...from maxboxing. Cut and Paste. Yah , Jones should retire. He's not the same guy and dont like watching him get KO'd again.

According to Roy Jones Jr's advisor, Jones is looking towards fighting Joe Calzaghe. Advisor to Jones Jr., Jim Thomas is noted in Danny Aller of The Pensacola News Journal column as saying that If Jones beats Prince Ajamu, there is one fighter Jones Jr wants to face next... and that's Joe Calzaghe.

Calzaghe's upcoming bout against Glen Johnson was called off when Calzaghe injured himself during training.

In Danny Aller of The Pensacola News Journal column, Jim Thomas is quoted as saying: "For Joe, I believe the fight against Glen was just to mark time before he faced Roy. Roy just needs to beat someone good, like the Prince, show he still has it and then Calzaghe will be up next."

Source of Quoted material - Ryan Clark & Danny Aller, The Pensacola News Journal.
