Why did *Floyd hook up with Ariza?

Simply mind games, I'm still not convinced Ariza has ever brought value to any boxers camp. He's a modern day sports shaman. Pacquiao has had a lot of leeches throughout his career and this one managed to make a name for himself.

I agree about mind games.

I'm not sure about the rest. I don't think anyone ever questioned his work, Freddie or Robert Garcia. He just seemed like a difficult, disruptive character in camp. The fighters who fought using his S&C programme all seemed to have an extra gear, whether that was down to him or just a coincidence I'm not sure.
