Floyd rejected NSAC's carrying out the blood testing.

Pacquiao agreed to urine tests up to the day of the fight but wanted a 24 day cut of because taking blood would disrupt his training.

    Floyd said 14 days.

Pacquiao's team wanted to compromise at 18 days Floyd didn't budge and the fight fell apart.

14 day, 18 day, doesn't matter , Floyd's testing procedure left huge window where either fighter could use. Contrary to what Floyd was saying it was not Olympic standard testing.

USADA when carrying out the test for Floyd's fight never blood tested a week before the fight and rarely tested in the last two weeks.

They are health reason why USADA won't blood test near the fight, so Manny was rightfully concerned about Floyd's demands.

Also blood tests are only good for specific PEDs such as HGH and EPO which need to be run for a full course, and would be useless in 24 days without roids which would be picked up with the urine tests.

VADA has caught a lot of cheats in the past few years, correct me if I am wrong but I believe they are all urine tests.

When the fight first fell apart, and Pacquiao fought Clottey and Floyd fought Mosley, the Pacquiao camp approached Floyd again to get the fight done, Pacquiao agreeing to any test Floyd wanted and what did Floyd do?

    This

Floyd say he wanted to take a year or two out of the sport.

    Why?

Simply ducking or was it another PED course?
once again, another great post +1

      2. Why do you think Freddie Roach said the first negotiation failing was Pac's side's fault?
      1) Cowboys Stadium and the MGM Grand were the venues. Floyd didn't want to have the fight outside Nevada as he couldn't use his Xylocaine, so MGM it would have been. Everything else done. Then Floyd throws a spanner in the works at the 11th hour. It's almost like he didn't want the fight.

      2) Roach probably thinks Pacquiao should have called Floyd's bluff and agreed to anything he said. He knew Floyd didn't want it and he probably thought this was the chance for Pacquiao to get the fight done. Easy to say in hindsight.

Floyd however would come out with other excuses, as he did, when the testing was no long a issue. Such as I need to take a year or two out of the game, and I will not work with Bob Arum.

Vit b12 as well, which was in the IV. It could to hide the dilution what you get when you try and flush the peds out your system.

            • Hey, fellas. At what point do you just admit you were wrong when you posted that Manny was better and that he would beat Floyd?

You guys just got enamored with Manny's power. Not a big deal, most young, casual fans are seduced by power punchers. However, there is more to the sport than just power punches.

There is angles, speed, defense, reflexes, ring IQ. Manny just isn't as good as Floyd. Is that really such a big deal?

Floyd wanted an even playing field to prove that.

Look dude why is it such a big deal? This happens in every sport.

Why does floyd being the better guy so bother you guys? Had Manny won, most floyd fans would've been upset at first, but then let it go. It is what it is.

What is wrong with being 2nd?

Yet Floyd ducked Manny in 2009.

Any reason why he needed to take a year or two year away from boxing after the Mosley fight?

It almost as there was a fighter he was trying to avoid.

Well why did Floyd take PEDs for his fight with Pacquiao in 2015?

Still no explanation why he needed a banned IV containing a mix that roid users use to pass drug tests.
