Brook is someone who fades but can take it on the chin.

I will be impressed if Peterson sees the final bell. He will have to fight a careful fight like he did against Garcia, difference is Spence is a seek and destroy fighter like Mattysse, but he does it with more science and maybe even heavier fists. I think it's a tall order for Peterson.
well we can pick apart their lows but I just think overall peterson has more grit than brook does. In a fight where someone outskills you, you NEED grit to grind it out and stamina to hold you up, now probably on paper and skill wise its brook>peterson but for this here specific fight its Peterson>brook imo.

Umm not sure. I know what you mean about grit - probably agree with that part. But grit as only as good as the situation allows. If you can't take the other guys shots then its a non-factor and I think that is what will happen here. I don't think Lamont will be able to take Spence's punches, and I do think after a patient start that Spence will start to land those big punches.

Yeah I agree with you, its all gonna boil down to how well peterson can take spence shots. I think peterson just like brook will be hurt if spence lands flush but recently peterson has adopted a highguard no bs style that I think is gonna be harder than norm for spence to land flush with consistently. I just see a very hard fight ahead for spence, one where it might be verywell one sided score wise when its all side and done but action wise its gonna be closer.

I don't actually think Brook was hurt by any singles, he was ground down by the body work and workrate. It was a very competitive fight through 8 rounds and at that point an even fight, and a fight where both guys landed a lot of leather.

I think Peterson will have to fight a great fight to be more competitive than that. As you said a lot will depend on whether Peterson can take the shots, I personally have a feeling he won't be able to and will go into survival mode after 3 or 4 rounds. Lets wait and see, we will get our answers in less than a week.

Was almost going to say the same thing, lol.

If you're going to try some old-school stuff like that (no idea if it actually works though), logic would leave me to think that you'd have that done in pre-camp, or at the least before the weight cut begins in earnest.

Beating up on the organs, when the body is already being dehydrated, doesn't make sense

Getting hit over and over in the stomach will not help him take Spence's body punches because it doesn't built muscle. Spence will KO him just as Matthysse did.It will be another spectacular KO win for the world's best welterweight in my opinion.

Brook was damaged goods against Spence. Golovkin had already ruined Brook.

I have a funny feeling Peterson is going to pull the upset specially since he has a Doctor's prescription to treat him with Low T

                      Damaged goods...

You do understand, it was a completely different eye socket that Spence broke?
