Yeah, not sold on that. Entertaining fighter, but he was outboxed too many times to count and had - arguably - best matchmaking EVER.

DLH after Floyd, and having Orbital bone broken by...Steve Forbes???? DLH also weighed LESS than Pac fightnight...Dude was cooked.

Hatton after Floyd (and every other fighter who nearly KO'D him)

    Mosley after Floyd

Cotto after he got plastered and given gift decision against Clottey...with a brand new trainer...at a catch-weight

Margarito after Mosley battered him AND he won a narrow UD against a JOURNEYMAN...with a catchweight AND rehydration clause...

It all starts to become repetitive because he never fought someone coming off a good performance (at 140 and above). Ever.

Tim Bradley - solid B- fighter - is his best 140+ win. A good win for aure, but nothing to write home about

Good fighter. Entertaining. Will be remembered most for his strict avoidance of drug testing...we might even get some **** down the line. Who knows?

I agree about Hatton. He was never a great fighter. And yeah large majority of Euro fighters aren't.

Pacquiao avoidance of OSDT...requiring a cutoff date, saying he's afraid of needles or that giving blood weakens him...combined with his performance at higher weights...Dude juiced :/

It's not hate...just pointing things out.

Pac was best media project from 2008-2015. Incredible storytelling by the media

He's a HOF guy, just not ATG. No reason to be disappointed

Perfect storm of Pacquiao at his absolute peak and Hatton having horribly declined despite having only one loss. You can't point to any one factor, but the combination of everything resulted in Ricky being absolutely decimated.

Hatton looked terrible and drained at the weigh in. He was in a position where he struggled to make 140 but couldn't compete at 147.

Hatton has been pretty honest about how he struggled mentally after his first loss plus he was just made to order stylistically, that right hook worked a treat every time he lunged in.

Hatton only ever had one style and that was to straightforwardly attack you. If you do that vs a Pacquiao from those years and you haven’t got the true skills to pull it off? Yeah, you are getting chewed up.

Hatton had some behind the scenes trouble for sure, that much is true with some of his personal life and some aspects of his camp, but at the end of the day he would have fought the same way even if things went perfect because that’s who he is; he simply wasn’t talented enough a boxer to have more than one or two wrinkles in his game.

Him and Pacquiao are fairly one-type-of-approach fighters, Pacquiao was better at it.

Because Floyd knocked Hatton the fùck out 1.5 years prior to that. That would be my guess.

Even in the fight after with Lazcano, he was getting hit with good shots he never really got hit with before.

I thought the reason was common knowledge. It's simple.
