Khan has taken too many devastating KOs. Thurman will actually live up to the One Time name if he were to fight Khan.

Yep, fast hands...pitty pat punches with an occasional solid shot. As you point out, he lacks the fundamentals of "good" boxing. He is repetitive and can be timed much like a fastball pitcher who lacks a decent curveball or changeup.

And a good shot to the chin can put you to sleep Amir.

People forget, that Amir was out boxing Canelo for a couple of rounds, in their fight, but Amir couldn't keep his high intensity and timing plus quick hand speed, past a couple of rounds. Then Canelo finally catches Khan with his right hand and knocks Amir out, so Khan does have the boxing abilities to beat Thurman.

Remember Keith is a boxer puncher, but not a very good boxer, he's more of a puncher, but he could catch Amir like Garcia did, in their fight, but don't be surprised if Amir gets a title shot before everyone else and actually beats Keit,h on points. Because he can do it and rather easy if focused and his timing and speed is top notch, like it was when he fought Maidana, if that Khan, fights Keith, then he actually beats Thurman on points and might even get a knockdown, from a body shot.

Sure. Stylistically a good fight. Does decent money for both. It's a big name on either boxers record. Glamourous event. Marketable. Khan is also correct about how to beat Thurman.

The reality. Khan has ZERO chance. Sorry but he will get wrecked. Thurman is very clever in the ring he knows what he needs to do against each fighter and I've actually seen him with the IQ to know when to go to war, when to fight in the pocket, when to counter and when to fight on the back foot.

I've always said Thurman is basically a FAR better version of Khan with similar movement BUT he can really **** and has a very good chin on him as opposed to Khan. Also...Thurman is a natural welterweight. Khan is not. Never will be. Size will always matter. This is why Brook wants Khan. He's a stick insect from lightweight. Came out of that jungle 145lbs whilst Crawford, who hasn't even fought at welterweight, is walking around at 177lbs LMFAO!!

Khan needs to seriously STFU and just respect his big money 3 fight deal, which nobody else would get btw, and MAYBE just MAYBE give boxing fans one good fight and one good performance before it's a wrap.

I'll give him a small chance if he is matched well to at least be able to do that. That's all I'm expecting from him. One big fight before it's a wrap and that might not even be Brook and realistically, the facts speak for themselves, he might not even make it to the end of his 3 fight deal. I'm not throwing shade on the kid. It's just what we've all seen and expect. If he goes beyond the 3 fight deal since it is, from what I'm hearing, an open contract and fights TWO decent names then I'll give him his credit. Till then...PLEASE STFU!

Nope. Nobody is forgetting that. Real boxing fans know Khan can pretty much outbox anyone and look great against anyone and they'll give him credit for that but they also know once a clean punch lands flush he'll be on ***** street.

When I say "lands flush" what I really mean is a punch he doesn't see coming. The facts are Khan has always been duped and caught by some of the most ******est shots I've ever seen someone get caught with because it's obvious he isn't smart enough to see them coming. Therein lies the debate...does Khan have a good boxing IQ? Most would say...NO. He does not.

It's nearly always the punch that a boxer doesn't see coming that switches the lights off. See what happened to Lubin recently. He didn't see that shot coming from Charlo at all.

More like "Death Time" when Khan gets taken out on a stretcher.

But he is a big name, Spence said it himself this week, those exact words ‘he’s a big name’. Compared to most UK fighters he fought a fair bit in US and under two high profile US Trainers so on the circuit every pro gym know’s who he is. Yeah man, hate him, I don’t like him much myself but can’t deny he’s built a profile and had some success in his earlier career
