I see a lot of people on here hate Khan and theres a lot of things I hate about him too, but to say that hes not good and isnt a top fighter I think that remains to be seen. He jumped up to 155 to fight Canelo which was a dumb move and everyone knew he was going to get knocked out. Khan is undefeated at 147. In his 3 fights at 147 he beat Devon Alexander, Chris Algieri, and Luis Collazo which isnt exactly murderers row, but it shows hes better than the B level guys at 147. Whether he can be competitive against Thurman and Spece will be determined by how well he does in his comeback fights. I think Khan fights a tune up and then a B level guy, and then will get a shot against Thurman or Pacquiao. Maybe Amir khan has a better chin at 147. If he doesnt get caught I think Khan can be competitive against Thurman and maybe Pacquiao too. Spence would most likely Ko him but I dont realistically ever see him fighting Spence because of his chin

He has incredibly fast hands but no timing and no boxing IQ, even roach said he fights too much like an amateur and gets carried away with his hand speed not knowing when to throw single shots or being economic with his punches.
He's not a good boxer, unable to make adjustments and consistently gets hit flush while he's throwing punches of his own.

He'd probably look good against Thurman for 2-3 rounds before Thurman got his timing off and used to his speed and predictable rat a tat combinations that lack variety or power. Would more than likely be flat on his back between rounds 4-6.

When I say "lands flush" what I really mean is a punch he doesn't see coming. The facts are Khan has always been duped and caught by some of the most ******est shots I've ever seen someone get caught with because it's obvious he isn't smart enough to see them coming. Therein lies the debate...does Khan have a good boxing IQ? Most would say...NO. He does not.

It's nearly always the punch that a boxer doesn't see coming that switches the lights off. See what happened to Lubin recently. He didn't see that shot coming from Charlo at all.
He didn't look good against Lamont Peterson drugs or no drugs. If you make it sloppy khan can't let his hands go. Kinda like calzaghe, but cal had an long long distance motor. While Khan is an short motor. So the elite fighters will catch him or time him in the late rounds.

The problem is he only has to land 1 big shot on YOU.

                  Khan biggest problems are:
                  1. Chin
                  2. Inability to make adjustments
                  3. Stays in the pocket too long

Khan is fast but Thurman will time him and knock him out.

Both, he boxes like a forum poster, wants to make it exciting for the fans and ONE PUNCH ends all that BS. Win rounds, win fights get more lucrative fights. Repeat
