The girl Shields was fighting last night's technique was horrible. She threw punches like an ogre. You usually only see male boxes with skills that poor at the very bottom of a FNF cards and cherry picked opponents.

Then I looked at her Boxrec and she has a win over one of the biggest names in the history of female boxing.

The talent pool simply isnt deep enough to make good matchups in women's boxing... not enough woman want to do it and not enough viewers want to see it. Switching to MMA would be the way to go if Shields wants to be a star IMO. I'd never heard Holly Holm's name until she fought Rousey to be honest, and now Holm is a household name in America.
