But lo and behold, Danny Garcia said it so the Haymon hate train is here.

No one has Crawford rated as a ww. Not Ring, not here, not TBRB, not espn, not anyone. Andreas Hale doesn't have Crawford ranked as a ww, but is bashing Danny for the exact same thing.

Look at Crawford's resume and look at Danny's. Garcia's is much better. He was the top dog, the champ at 140 for years, taking on the #1 challenger numerous times. He has fought Morales (twice), Khan, Matthysse, Peterson and many more. Who has Crawford fought? Why isn't there articles bashing Crawford for facing Lundy and the rest of the bums he has fought?

Guess what? DSG has already fought Thurman, who many consider the most proven and thus the top ww. Yes, that was his last fight. When has Crawford ever faced someone on Thurman's level? When has Crawford ever fought as a ww? Crawford is the odd man out here, everyone else is fighting each other. Garcia already holds wins over Khan, Matthysse, and Peterson at 140. He has fought bottom top 10 guys like Guerrero. He has fought Keith Thurman. Porter has faced Brook, Broner, and Thurman. Spence fought Brook in the U.K. Thurman holds wins over Porter and Garcia.

His last fight was against the #1 ranked ww in the world. It was also Thurman's most recent fight. And now Hale as the gall to say DSG needs to fight the top ww's. He just did his last fight. Fighting Rios after your first career loss makes perfect sense. Look at who Kov fought after his losses to Ward. No story saying he needs to take on the best like Stevenson, Bivol, Jack. No he's allowed a come back fight. Not DSG.
Danny G gets beat worse in a rematch that will never happen because Thurman is also making sure he doesn't bump into a potential loss.

ONE ROUND judged differently, ONE ROUND! and this is a whole different conversation
I think alot of his haters are the same ones who thought he would lose to Matthysse. And are still mad

Come 2019, with Danny Garcia firmly in place as mandatory (with two more wins on his ledger), he's going to likely get a shot at the WBC/WBA/IBF champion, in a megafight.

Danny Garcia is who he is, and he's still a top 5 welterweight (only fighters I put above him are Spence and barely Thurman; we don't know how Crawford's skills translate at 147lbs); great eyes/vision, monster left hook, sturdy chin, good jab, really good on the counter, slow feet, and a boxing craft molded from all the time spent in Philly gyms, on the amateur scene, and his hard road up the ranks at 140lbs.

Not blowing through Herrera definitely hurt things (Herrera showing the world that he was actually a world-level 140/147 fighter didn't change things after the quick opinion was set, but that's boxing for you), but writing off Danny Garcia is a mistake.
              What? Thurman beat him easily.

Danny obviously has some problems, but I still think he has some good fights left in him. We'll find out how he fares on this comeback. If the top form he once had is there, if he can step up a level or two undeterred, then he's back. If not, he should just take some easy fights and retire. This is too tough of a profession to go into the ring not 100%.

                      Another Pay Check Player

Danny, along with nearly every other Haymon fighter are simply paycheck players, nothing more. Danny is just the most obvious because he's in it for easy money and doesn't really care who knows. Unfortunately, it's not just Danny, everyone in the Haymon camp seem to have a complicated reason and a long story as to why they don't need to fight someone...it's a pattern.
