    Danny Garcia Puertorican?

Why did the writer said he is puerto rican, he isnt, he is an american fighter from philly, you can argue he is american even if he was born in puerto rico, but you cant say he is a puerto rican born in philly. They are just trying to sell him like Oscar or fernando Vargas were mexican.

Yeah I'd agree. I think he has been figured out to some extent. If you come to him then he can be very effective. But he is dreadful when forced to lead. Peterson, who isn't a boxer at all, made him look terrible just by committing to staying in the back foot.

Funny he gets a pass for this from people who used to slate Pacquiao with the same criticism. And Pacquiao was a million times more creative offensively than Danny.

Morales might have been fat and over the hill but he figured out what Danny was all about when he fought him

Puerto Rican blood? Parents Puerto Rican? Yeah anyway don't claim nationality to a country you weren't born in and have never even lived in. You are right, just trying to sell him a lil more.

Just imagine if Bobfather was the one who made Garcia vs Salka.
They're nowhere to be found here blaming Haymon.

His fight with Thurman was a close fight. A rematch is a fight Garcia could very well win. As for Craw and Spence, they both would beat Danny, but neither would be some one-sided massacre. After that, there is Porter which would be a good fight. Saying that Craw isn't a top 10 ww because he has never fought at ww, is common sense. But lo and behold, Danny Garcia said it so the Haymon hate train is here.

No one has Crawford rated as a ww. Not Ring, not here, not TBRB, not espn, not anyone. Andreas Hale doesn't have Crawford ranked as a ww, but is bashing Danny for the exact same thing.

Look at Crawford's resume and look at Danny's. Garcia's is much better. He was the top dog, the champ at 140 for years, taking on the #1 challenger numerous times. He has fought Morales (twice), Khan, Matthysse, Peterson and many more. Who has Crawford fought? Why isn't there articles bashing Crawford for facing Lundy and the rest of the bums he has fought?

Guess what? DSG has already fought Thurman, who many consider the most proven and thus the top ww. Yes, that was his last fight. When has Crawford ever faced someone on Thurman's level? When has Crawford ever fought as a ww? Crawford is the odd man out here, everyone else is fighting each other. Garcia already holds wins over Khan, Matthysse, and Peterson at 140. He has fought bottom top 10 guys like Guerrero. He has fought Keith Thurman. Porter has faced Brook, Broner, and Thurman. Spence fought Brook in the U.K. Thurman holds wins over Porter and Garcia.

His last fight was against the #1 ranked ww in the world. It was also Thurman's most recent fight. And now Hale as the gall to say DSG needs to fight the top ww's. He just did his last fight. Fighting Rios after your first career loss makes perfect sense. Look at who Kov fought after his losses to Ward. No story saying he needs to take on the best like Stevenson, Bivol, Jack. No he's allowed a come back fight. Not DSG.

Yea, but like the article said, DSG can't avoid the top ww's forever. Oh wait...

The Haymon hate is real. This is a piece accusing Garcia of avoiding all top wws, when his last fight was literally against the #1 ww in the world. The hypocrisy is mind-boggling.

Garbage article which seems to be on par with almost every Andrea Hale article. is it a requirement for most boxing media to have at least a touch of Down Syndrome to get hired ?

Typical media BS just force feeding a negative message to the basement dweller boxing fans who can't think for themselves

Garcia is younger then Crawford and this writer is critical of his competition level. Garcia was fighting guys in 2010 at 22 years old on the way up that were on the same level that Crawford was fighting in 2016 as a P4P fighter

The guy conquered the 140 division before Crawford did and actually had to face credible names to do it.

Danny G IS a cherry picker and in my opinion, lost to Herrera and Peterson as well. He is in no way elite and the old crop of WW, Pac Man, FMJ and a batch of them would have killed him. His KO of China Doll Khan was no big deal as Con gets dropped in almost every fight. Danny came along at the right time. Now, he is bumping up against a crop of WWs that will clean out the division, true elites in the making; Spence and Crawford. Watch Danny G take as much money off the table as he can and don't criticize him for it-He knows his true worth and it is not top 5.
