yeah, but with Smogers history, I'm willing to give a mulligan. The fact that you can really only think of one bad match proves his quality.

Plus, he let guys go at each other way harder than any other ref did, yet you could also tell he genuinely cared for the fighters

Yeah, I'm tempted to give him a pass for the reason you say, but that is SO bad.

I can't think of another fight, offhand, where the ref tries to beat up one of the fighters.
