There's a reason why Wilder's record is loaded with guys who are stationary targets - it makes those long, looping windmills look a hell of a lot better than they actually are.

It's a bit like a power hitter in the minor leagues who has a long, looping swing. It'll work against semi-pro's, but put him in the majors, and that swing will be exposed.
Technique / accuracy combined with speed and mass delivers the stronger /harder punch .

Wilder is slightly faster but hes also 30 pounds less and is missing the other attributes over Joshua .

Joshua is not only heavy handed which gives him more power but hes also harder hitting bc of the accuracy and technique .

Usually punchers have one or the other bc Power /blunt force is different from direct fast snapping punches which hit harder .Joshua has both .

If we went beyond this and added set ups and counter punching its not even close who is overall the more effective puncher and harder to deal with fighter .

This man Gavern was Wilder's 32'nd & Joshua's 11'th opponent. He knows what he is talking about.

        heres the issue,

power is subjective; can the other dude take a shot and will the shot land.

the guy with the better technique will win.

Is that why he got knock out of the year award?
