People argue here who hits harder its safe to say they both do, they both hit hard enough to KO each other. What people are not saying which is a bit nieve who takes a better punch and is able to overcome when hit. My money goes to Wilder but what it will probably going to come down to is who lands the KO punch first, this will only be answered on the night of the fight.

Does anyone really think Wilder could do that ?
Joshua certainly has concussive, one punch ko power. Wilder has different power....the energy travels up his opponents arm or chest, and causes internal damage to bones, organs and tissue. Takes longer to feel those effects s which is why it usually takes more time for the ko.

It's all in the kenetic energy realm.

There are 3 phases of a punch: the power generation, the delivery and the transfer. Joshua's way of punching is focused on the last, so, with his weight and muscles all his punches are solid. Wilder generates and deliveries more power but not in all punches, only in the KO's. So, who hits harder - Joshua, who has the hardest punch - Wilder.

Not knocking your opinion because it's your opinion and you are entitled to it, but when has Wilder ever really taken a punch from any heavyweight with notable power to know whether he can take a better punch and is able to overcome being hit?

I don't think anyone with a shred of credibility to their name, would truly believe Wilder is more powerful than Joshua.

There's a reason why Wilder's record is loaded with guys who are stationary targets - it makes those long, looping windmills look a hell of a lot better than they actually are.

It's a bit like a power hitter in the minor leagues who has a long, looping swing. It'll work against semi-pro's, but put him in the majors, and that swing will be exposed.
