Post-prison Tyson:
Lost to Evander Holyfield in the first fight (and didn't quit, he was knocked out after eleven hard rounds). Snapped in the second while the fight was still on balance. Was given to Lewis as drugged easy meat, in pitiful mental conditions, and even in that case he didn't quit, taking his beating like a man until the end as he had done against Buster Douglas and in the first Holyfield bout.
Tyson only really "quit" in his last fight, against Kevin McBride. He had been a finished fighter for a long time then. He just didn't have it anymore, and promptly admitted that in the post-fight interview.
So, in the end, a prime Tyson would stand a good chance of beating both Holyfield and Lewis. In regard to Bowe, please. In spite of the official results, Bowe was disintegrated by Andrew Golota, who in turn was destroyed by a B-level version of Tyson. A prime Tyson would have Bowe throwing up all his cookies.
Does anyone judge Muhammad Ali's fighting qualities by the Holmes and Berbick fights? Just sayin'.
