Spence has the right mentality don't waste a year or so of your career waiting on someone when you can make a name for yourself. He does need to be more active as well, I hope he is able to fight three times this year.

It will be good while it lasts. Spence is not a one punch knock out artist and tends to soften people. Khan is fast and has a high work rate so definitely this would be a good fight. People forget Khan took Maidana's best shots and some guys couldn't get an answer to his style but were bewildered by his speed and volume. Khan is not as bad as people think.

khan isn't as bad as people think, but he also isn't as good as he thinks he is. I think he loses to pretty much every to on fighter at 147 but will cause trouble with his speed. He did take maidanas punches but definitely didn't take them well. That fight could've been stopped in the 10th but he gutted it out. That was also a much younger and active version of khan. This semi retired version won't last long vs the work rate and power of Spence.

Sounds good but dance partners will be a problem. IBF struggling to sort out at #1 Contender right now. Likely will have to fight Carlos Ocampo by Default since Konstantin Ponomarev doesn't seem all that interested in being in position to fight Spence Jr

I'm a big fan of Spence and he is good but we also need to see him fighting different styles, guys with speed, range, work rate and who don't gas out. yeah, Peterson definitely plays right into Spence'strengths. He's gonna be right there to hit. That's how mathysse took him out so easily.

I have a feeling we're not getting the Thurman fight this year but I feel either Porter, Danny, Berto, or Broner will have to fight Spence which will NOT end well for anyone mentioned.

Interestingly enough his activity in the last 3 years has plummeted big time. He fought 4 times in 2015, twice in 2016, and once last year. He's definitely gotta be more active this year.
