Jacobs is a risky fight for Saunders..I don't blame him..saunders wants the canelo money or a chance to unify against golovkin..meanwhile Sullivan isn't that bad a choice for Jacobs..no top contenders available..and he needs to stay active

Am I the only one on here that likes this fight? Only top class fighters beat spike in my opinion. To beat him you need fitness and a decent chin because he just keeps coming forward. He can't be hurt either.

Spike O' Sullivan? Really? Can't wait to see who the "other guys" are that received offers to fight Jacobs!

Whatever people say about Spike...he will come to fight and bring some entertaining pre-fight stuff along with him.

His record is not horrible, losing only to Saunders and Eubank Jnr, and his last win was impressive enough to give him a shot a Jacobs.

          He deserves the opportunity IMO.

And Andrade is still free. HBO should tell him to pick between Jacobs or Deryvanchenko or his HBO contract is terminated if he only came on board to fight tuneups. Last year he said he just needed a full 10 weeks to prepare for Deryvanchenko, but now he's saying he's not big enough to fight big middleweights. He even said "no" he wouldn't face Saunders next! So this guy is a walking excuse machine his entire career, why the **** did HBO sign him? More of HBO bending over backwards for a talented but boring, risk adverse American boxer who thinks he is entitled to fight cab drivers on HBO's airways his entire career. When will HBO learn? Either he fights a top opponent for once in his career or as an HBO subscriber I never want to see him on HBO again. And I was impressed with him despite his failure as usual to make a statement in his last fight (another reason he doesnt break through, but if he's anything like the other American boxers of this generation, he'll probably blame race or something), but if he's not willing to fight the best then that doesn't count for anything. It tells us no matter how impressive he looks in certain aspects of his game, he knows something about his overall game that we don't. Usually, it's the chin. After all, he did get dropped by Vanes, who is not an elite puncher even at 154.

So, it looks like we got another chinny, scared, protected American boxer getting HBO special treatment. Should be great for the sport.
Ah, I see what you're problem is.

You have it in for American boxers and their race apparently as well.

That explains a lot of your posts.

              I like it!!

Spike brought a hell of alot more excitement than Lemieux did on that card...

Should be near enough 50/50 split. Neither guy is champion. I know jacobs thinks hes a superstar cause he went the distance with golovkin but unfortunately there's no column in your boxing record for moral victories.

WTF Spike is terrible, why would Jacobs fight him? That guy lost every single round to Saunders. Isn't Derevyanchenko free?

Go watch Saunders interviews about Jacobs calling him out after the Lemieux fight, they speak for themselves.

Andrade recently ducked that Russian guy for a number 1 contender status and says he wants a shot at Golovkin or Canelo...(****ing clown lol)he's definitely not fighting Jacobs either.

Murata is with Top Rank, They are done with HBO.

Charlo is fighting for the WBC Interim Title against Hugo Centeno.
Saunders said he has no interest in fighting Jacobs in the US if he ain't getting paid. If Jacobs wants the fight he is the one who needs to travel to the UK to fight the champ.
