This will not be as easy of a fight as people think for Crawford. He will eventually outclass Horn but Jeff is a big rough dude and we know he can take a shot. His only shot is to be a bully but I am sure Arum will have a talk with the ref before the fight. Think Lomachenko vs Salido.

not always the case with other fighter. why is crawford looking for an easy win? shouldnt crawford be calling out for the top guys in his divison?? why is he fighting a school teacher aka manny's left over?Crawford is fighting Horn because he is Horn's mandatory challenger. If he wins, ideally he would challenge the other top WW's. This will not happen because we know Crawford's promoter, Bob Arum, doesn't make many fights with his guys against fighters promoted by other promoters.
Knowing all the facts, should Crawford destroy Horn as expected, the next logical fight is Manny given Manny is the #2 ranked WW by the WBO, the belt Crawford is challenging Horn for.Comment

Well, Manny isn't man enough to fight him so he has to fight Horn, who is the champ and just beat Manny, next.
Because I want to see him get a big PPV opportunity and bash Manny's head in before he leaves Top Rank and goes out on his own.Comment

Combined purses for the main event will probably be in the $3-4 million range, so I expect this to be on an ESPN-distributed PPV, since ESPN hasn't been paying anywhere near the kind of license fee that would make this fight financially viable.
And if so, expect another Crawford PPV of less than 100K buys, like Crawford-Postol, and as a result, Crawford will get short money.
But hey, Crawford will be a "PPV fighter," so it's all good, right? LOLComment
