I agree that Mayweather Jr drained Canelo and has been a ducker of prime dangerous opponents....but a "coward" ?

We are all boxing fans (well we should be on a site like this)...to call a man with 50 professional fights and a decorated amateur career a coward...cmon man.

I take it you regularly grapple bears and lions bare handed and win, which is why you feel you can call a professional boxer who risks his health everytime he steps into the ring a coward.......

He wasn't green but he was far from prime. He is twice the fighter now that he was when he fought Mayweather. Mayweather would only fight him if he agreed to make a catch weight of 152 instead of the standard 154 pounds. That took some of the shine off the win. This was after Mayweather fought Cotto at the full 154 pounds and bragged that he only fights guys at their best weight. 152 pounds was 2 pounds below Canelo's best weight at that time. Still it was an impressive win for Floyd.

Canelo might be the most overrated fighter of all time

Current Canelo would eat Floyd's a**hole alive.

He is slightly improved but not a lot. He's still primarily a counter puncher who doesn't initiate contact very often. His defense is still the same which is good but not great. His stamina is still the same which is horrible for a professional fighter.

Mayweather fought him at 152 because Canelo conceded to doing it. It was gamesmanship and Canelo and his team blinked first when they said he would do it at that weight. The fight would've still happened because it was the biggest fight for Mayweather to take at the time. The only reason it took some of the shine off the win is because it was Mayweather. Anyone else would've got full credit vor handing Canelo his first loss.

Mayweather is a hypocrite like anyone else that goes back on their word but the win is still impressive. People are still throwing shade when they say Canelo was green and how much he improved. He's the same fighter as the one that fought Mayweather
