Where would you rank Prince Naseem Hamed

I wasn't watching boxing when Naz was fighting, so all I have are YouTube fights against other guys I don't know too apart from Barrera. He looked impressive but sloppy and seem easy to get wobbled with shots.

So 3 quick questions for those that know him well...

His highlights show his spectacular KOs but were those guys cakes or did he really hit that hard?

For guys like me to measure how good he really was, where would you rank him on the current P4P list?

If he is not on your P4P list, who can you compare him to now?

No he really hit that hard. He fought some good fighters and flattened them. Guys who normally can take a punch but weren't skilled got flattened with a few shots from him. I really hated him when he started but I started to look forward to his fights. He's a character.

He wasn't anything amazing. He just had moments of flash and brilliance, which is something that fans sometimes fall in love with.

He was a great boxer, but I think he was very overrated. I wouldn't put him in top 10 P4P all time.

and no, I'm not writing a damn list.

Far from great and became even more overrated in recent years. He was an elite level fighter and if he was around today and at his peak I'd say he'd be top 10 but towards the back end of the top 10. In an all-time great sense I don't think you could rank him among the top 20 all-time featherweights.

Great power in both hands, but sloppy technique and average defense and major balance issues and fundamental flaws. I'm not one to write him off because of the shellacking Barrera gave him because he had some solid wins like Tom Johnson, Manuel Medina, Vuyani Bungu and Kevin Kelley and at different times he did win the WBO, WBC and IBF belts and reigned for over 5 years I just think he's been glorified into an almost mythical talent in recent times by some fans.

He's in the hall of fame but I don't think he deserves it.

He beat a couple of good names, nobody super big though. I rank Hamed pretty low because he quit like a bítch when he got exposed.

Let's not forget he came up during RJJ's time and everybody latched on to him because he nicked a bit of RJJ's steeze.

I'd put him in the A- bracket. Without a doubt one of the greatest entertainers we've seen in a boxing ring. He beat only a few decent names so let's not beat around the bush but any man who comes into the ring on a flying carpet is the shìt. LOL!

His power was real. Unorthodox angles and power = devastating puncher. He was a hard hitter for his weight class. It's only when he made it financially he became lackadaisical with his training and you could tell it was a matter of time before he bumped into a live Dog. Barrera beat him convincingly.

He didn't even bother chasing a rematch he was far too comfortable financially and the hunger for boxing had left him and was replaced by a hunger for cheeseburgers and kebabs.

Great boxer. Hall of famer for his entertaining fights alone. Not a legendary boxer by a longshot but made his mark in boxing history.

His style is one of a kind.I guess in one way little like R Jones in that his athletism allows him to get away with stuff others could not.But he was the BEST PUNCHER at 126 ive seen live. And he should have been the 1st guy to win all 4 belts in 4 belt era.His fight with W Vasquez should have been for WBA title(the only one he did not win) but WV was stripped like a week before for not fighin some mand bum.He had a short career and had plenty of holes in defence that even his speed and athletism could not fully cover but he fought some very good fighters and DAMN could he PUNCH.
