Just remember that whatever comes out of Duva'S mouth is not gospel.

Looks like I was right. It’s obvious by Kovalev last two opponents that they weren’t looking to fight any tough competition.

It’s ok, the beating he will receive by KOV can wait for a better day.
After the disastrous deal Duva made for KOV vs Ward 2 how many of you would sign a contract with her?

That's the risk you take by demanding to stand on your feet, rather than simply bending over to be ****ed.

With the way he seems to see the deal, he seemed likely screwed either way; now, he's facing a guy who's obviously not as good as Andre Ward was, with the chance to get a belt and walk.

Yep you have to take risks in order to get rewards. Kov is the higher risk, higher reward compared to Bivol.

there's always two side of a story but barrera not taking the fight because he was offered less for kovalev coupled with the fact that ped- test avoiding bivol looks green looks abit believable

I think a lot of hardcore fans are quicker to side with a promoter than a fighter to so idk thats its just the casuals who do it. The truth is we as fans rarely get to know the deals guys are offered & what they include so all our opinions are based on weak info at best.

I've heard that sexy offer Broner got to fight Manny was a boxing 360 type deal where Top Rank would get a piece of all his income (gear, appearances, etc) which is some UFC type bs. Which makes it funny Arum makes such an effort to dog the UFC when he's the boxing promoter who does business the most like the UFC.

But yea I can't blame Barrera for saying f#ck that in particular with the extension on top of it. F#ck that screw me & make me sign a deal to screw me more moving forward. That said I think he probably should have take the previous (+100K) deal although idk all the specifics to that deal either obviously.

Barrera already left one of the best trainers now it looks like hes gonna burn another bridge.

Just because Barrera talked some shlt in an effort to try to add some hype and drama to the fight does not make it so...
