He's still with Al Haymon though, he made the right move to go to HBO because Saunders, GGG and Canelo all fight on HBO and these are his biggest possible fight. I don't think Charlo is under contract with showtime so the fight could still happen down the line.

He has better options at 160 lbs, a fight against Saunders is a big fight and of course the Canelo vs GGG winner (or even loser) is a very big fight for him. Groves vs Eubank winner won't fight Jacobs before they're done with that tournament, so he should just wait until this tournament is done and then fight the winner of the whole tournament, meanwhile he should stay at 160 lbs and try to get title fights with Saunder, Canelo, GGG and also Charlo.
