The Washington, D.C. native will turn 34 on January 24, just four days after he's scheduled to challenge the newest kid on the welterweight block -- IBF champ Errol Spence Jr. -- at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York...

Whatever ends up happening, Peterson isn't coming to pad Spence's record. I think the veteran Lamont could give Spence problems. That being said, Lamont has only one advantage that I can think of. He has NOTHING to lose and Spence has EVERYTHING to lose.

Destroyed by Matthysse. But Spence won't destroy you? unlikely.

Peterson's odds currently around 8.50... almost willing to throw a few ones on him.

Nah Lamont gets stopped. Unless he is willing to bulk up and try to out muscle Spence. People tend to forget Peterson is a big guy also, 5'9. But his best days are behind him, he would have made Spence a run for his money though if the Peterson that fought Garcia would somehow come in.
