Floyd was too confident to have even considered that!
The TS is asking if he went into a fight that was 50/50, and I'm saying no, he goes into fights that he knows he has the edge.

You are correct, why would a fighter take a fight when they know they are going to lose, but there are fighters that have done that (Salka/Garcia, Khan/Alvarez), but you're putting it as if a guy takes a fight and doesn't think he can win.

You mention Floyd having confidence, but where was his confidence to fight outside of America, why did he only fight in the USA if he had all the confidence.

The fights I thought he lost--Castillo I, DLH and Maidana I. He blamed his lackluster performance against Castillo on his shoulder...ok, I'll grant him that given he thoroughly dominated him in the rematch. But I had DLH up 115-113, and Maidana 116-112 in their first fight.

          First you say this.....

          Then you claim......

It's too late for the Floyd-GGG fight now. Early 2016 was the time for it to happen.

I always thought Floyd would have outclassed Sergio, but for whatever reason the fight never happened. Floyd really missed an opportunity to claim the Lineal Middleweight title.

There's no harm in talking about theoretical fights when Floyd himself talked the fights up at one point or another.

I think we can all come to the logical conclusion that if Floyd did in fact fight and UD Sergio.....you would have still made this thread.

          Think about it.

But your question to ever the underdog/expected to lose, I'd have to say back in 09 when he SHOULD'VE fought Pacquiao, which is why he ran with his bs. I'm not making it up either, when that fight first came about, Floyd WAS the underdog, I remember it all around here in Vegas and there are multiple sources, but just a quick google search, I was able to find one for you

Too bad Manny was hooked on Meth and ducked the WADA blood test and ABP test in 2009. Probably using a whizzinator to pass NSAC urine test. What a shame.

I gave an honest account of how I saw those fights. Not my fault you're a load-guzzling fanboy. Get a clue.
