Agree. I really like the Hatton KO. Great fight from Floyd.Floyd's war with Bob Arum is really the primary reason why. Floyd famously made fights exactly when he wanted to make them, and it's one of his biggest brags that he still makes right after he brags about his money.
He fought a handful of top guys as soon as they were no longer involved with Bob Arum. If I'm not mistaken the only exception was the Manny fight after Floyd split with Top Rank?
Floyd always says he did it his way and that partly involved not dealing with certain outfits who always had champions in the stable. Does anyone else remember the insane fever pitch Bob Arum created for Floyd to fight Margarito back in like 2008?
I do wish Floyd had fought Cotto earlier, when he was still with Bob, and before the whole Margarito disaster. Probably the top thing I wish had gone down differently on Floyd's resume. Maybe Mosley a good 3 years sooner would have been a better fight too.
Unrelated but: I think Floyd's best wins on paper (arguably) are the Hatton KO and beating young Canelo.
But even Hatton was undersized. So was Marquez. Floyd never took on a bad mofo with reach and size and whupped him.Comment

You could bring up Diego Corrales though, who was undefeated going into their fight. That's arguably Floyd's most master class performance.
But I get what you mean, specifically at welter/140/147- that's when his power took the backseat.Comment
