I dont think Davis is avoiding Lom. I could easily see Davis seeing the Lom fight as the chance to total stardom if he were to beat Lom. He has probably analysed the fight and in his mind sees himself winning. I just dont see fear in him or him showing any doubts in his mind when he fights. He has that kind of confidence. Late this year or early next it could happen when both are at 135.

He isn’t ready mentally for that type of fight. At this point in his career he has shown a lack of professionalism. He last fight he lost his title on the scale. I personally saw him out partying 6 weeks before his last fight. He needs to learn respect for the game and Floyd has a lot of money invested in him. Plus at this moment they don’t need Loma to make this kid a star. But Tank has to prove he wants to be a star.

They said he is too young. That's the excuse being sold. Has over 200 amateur fights, held a belt that he lost on the scales, and has more pro fights than Loma, but Davis is too young. Lol. Oh, and they said Loma is not a draw, LMFAO!

I dont know if Gervonta is shook, but Floyd for sure is shook of letting him in the cage with loma. As good as a fighter floyd was he doesnt really have that many great fighters in his stable. Gervonta is like his only star, cant have loma beating his ass lol. They are gonna be super careful with him and feed him bum s for a while.

loma is promoted by top rank and exclusive to espn.

tank is promoted by mayweather and exclusive to pbc.

Mayweather think he would lose the fight.

I won't mind if Davis fought 3 C-rated opponents throughout the year at 135 to acclimatize to the division. He's already well off and can afford to be choosy. What's the rush?

Loma should fight Crawford if he's so desperate.

I wanna see Davis Loma in 2019 or 2020, maybe at 140, if neither loses or becomes irrelevant by then. All is possible.

I am sure Tank fears no boxer but he will go along with Mayweather and Mayweather says he isn't ready yet. Since he isn't a champion now he has no obligation to fight the top guys. He can take a few learning fights and try for a title at 135.

Hes basically saying in that tweet hes not ready for loma. Lack of confidence from him. What type of fighter actually says **** like that lol.

"cant rush greatness" . Him and floyd are pretty much doing the whole thing were you protect a fighter and pad his record.
