      Slappy isn't necessarily a bad thing if you are winning. RJJ was called slappy too. He was still a great fighter. Haters just need something to latch onto in order to talk up their favorite under-achieving fighters.

            He has accomplished a lot for a slapper.

            But seriously, I have never rooted for Calzaghe but I admit he has very good skills. He is very slick. Had good hand speed and most importantly, very active in the ring. He might be a slapper but his in-ring activity is something.

                      I don't beleive he was 'feather fisted' at all.

                      He did have fragile hands though.

                      He also had the 'slap style' that RJJ and Degale also use.
