How much of a chance do you give Lamont Peterson?

Do you give him no chance at all?

I give him little chance. If Spence is injured, careless, etc, Lamont could catch him. Otherwise, it's really unlikely. I predict that as soon as Spence puts some power on him, Peterson is going into "Oh shyt!" mode and will be looking to not get finished.

I don't even think Peterson is bad, I just think the momentum is w/ Spence. Look how Peterson fought Garcia. As if he was just there to play defense. Spence is a hungry lion. He goes in there looking to eat you. Peterson will be looking to survive.

His only chance is to stay at a distance. I can see it like the Garcia fight, but Spence is bigger, better and stronger. Peterson has no advantages to Spence so I don't see him having to much success. Spence is gonna eventually break him down

I give him a chance to last the distance, but not win the fight.

I think he’s competitive early on but ultimately doesn’t have enough firepower. Lamont’s a tough dude, so I could see him hearing the final bell but I can’t see him actually winning tbh.

              Everybody gots a chance.

I don't feel Lamont has a good one doe. I think he'll probably get stopped in the middle rounds. I don't think this will be very competitive. I think this is probably a 85/15, 90/10 type fight Errol's way.

Yeah I mean LP didn't fare well with Matthyse's power and Spence has a much higher work rate, more precision, and is a much physically larger fighter than Lucas is/was.

I really don't see anything Lamont can do besides trying to get inside and hope to get some body work done...slowing Errol down. But Errol is a smart offensive fighter and won't just let someone smother his work without penalty.

Yeah this is likely to be a showcase fight against a C or C+ WW.

Errol needs to press for Danny, Keith, Tim Bradley (who just said he would possibly comeback), Khan, Shawn Porter, Jessie Vargas, Pacquiao, etc.

If he can get one of those guys + his win over Brook...it makes him a bigger "star" and so opponents would earn more $$ in facing him. In other words, he would be more worth the risk...because he isn't worth it at all right now

Ive always liked this dude. But his age and the fact that he is moving up in weight against a young killer sounds like bad news. The odds are stacked against him and i dont give him much of a chance. Best scenario is him putting up a little fight and going 12.

Then look for everybody to call Spence overrated lol.

But who knows. Peterson has nothing to lose here and fighters like that can be very dangerous.

Spence has everything to lose here.

Yea thats the big question here more than who'll win. Does Spence have the power & ability to hurt Peterson enough to stop him or is Peterson still crafty & elusive enough to take this 12.

I say Spence stops him, but I think that'll be the more interesting dynamic with this fight then how competitive it is.

Hell man I thought Felix Diaz shoulda gotten the nod over Peterson recently & for sure that fight was close & Spence is on a whole over level compared to Diaz.
